The Kenya Highlands Evangelical University  formely known as Kenya highlands Bible College was Chartered on the 23rd March 2011 by H.E. Hon. Mwai Kibaki, the President and commander in chief of the defence forces of Kenya, through the Commission for Higher Education and  is now a fully fledged University. KHEU has met all the CHE standards and has attained a full University status.
